On Wednesday, we took two different trains. Our first wasn't long, but our second one was 4 hours long. When we got out, we rented a car and drove for two more hours until we reached a small town called Cairnbaan. Adam and I shared a room/bed.
On Thursday, we drove for an hour or so to Oban. At Oban we went to the Highland Games. The Highland Games are a ton of sports and dancing and stuff. It is all a competition but it is mostly for fun. After that, we walked around Oban for a while and then we drove home after dinner.
On Friday, we had a quiet day and basically the only thing we did was we went on a short walk up the canal we lived on. Since it rained last night, there were a lot of slugs on the path.
On Saturday, we drove to Crinan and found a beach to play and find rocks on. The beach was really nice. There were a ton of really pretty shells. There were like sand islands with really shallow water in between them.
I really liked Cairnbaan!
