On Monday when we were in Riga we went out and explored and shopped the Old Town part of Riga. It was very nice.
The next day was Tuesday and we walked to the Central Market. The Central Market is a huge market with lots of booths with food and stuff. It was awesome. We ate lunch there and then Dad left to go work and then I bought a new purse. Then Mom, Adam, and I took a train to this forest park. It is a playground in the forest. It was awesome. After we played there for a while, we walked to the beach and played there for a while. Then we took the train home and went out to dinner with Grandpa's friend.
On Wednesday, we drove to Aluksne and went to lunch. Then we went searching for my grandpa's house. We did that for a while and made a little progress. Then we went back to town and saw the church where he was baptized and climbed to the top of it. After that we visited the cemetery where grandpa's family was buried. It was beautiful cemetery. Then we had a bonfire at home, toasted marshmallows, then we saw Mars and the Big Dipper.
The next morning we went out and found the house. Then we lit candles at the cemetery. Then we drove back to Riga.
On Friday we went back to the Old Town and did archery. Then at dinner time we went out to dinner with Grandpa's cousin and his family.
On Saturday Adam got sick and then we flew to Germany.
